A hotel in Toronto offers the most private and discreet getaway for guests who still want the 5-star experience. The Windsor Arms Hotel is a top destination spot for celebrities, especially during the Toronto International Film Festival. It is the perfect spot for stars to relax, but still be catered too.
Guests of the Windsor Arms Hotel can have anything discreetly delivered to their hotel room, as long as it is legal. The hotel is so private, that guests can stay in their room and never have to see anyone, yet still get wined and dined.
The secret behind this success? The butler’s pantry. The two-way cupboard is the size of a door and is complete with hidden shelves and is tucked away in the walls of the suites. All 28 suites have this accommodation and they can ask for anything to be delivered like food, Champaign, or even chocolate covered strawberries. Some guests have even ordered guitars and Jell-O to fill their bathtub. As long as it is legal, anything can be delivered, without judgment.
George Friedmann is the owner of this brilliant hotel and he got the idea when he experienced an awkward situation with a hotel maid. Friedmann answered the door in his underwear and startled the maid who was delivering pillows. So to help eliminate these weird incidents, he thought of the idea of the butler’s pantry and so far, it has turned out to be very successful.
The hotel really caters to guests with the highest standards. They are used to having a full house of celebrities during the TIFF, so they always keep up the excellent and discreet customer service. The rooms range from $415 per night to around $1,500 per night. Each suite comes with separate heating and cooling systems so it feels like you are really in your own private home. The hotel may offer a lot of privacy, but it does it without risking luxury. The Windsor Arms Hotel is a place where you can discreetly be treated like a king or queen.
