Adult Summer Camp

Pack Those Bags For Adult Summer Camp

Summer camp isn’t just for kids anymore. Adult summer camps are taking the country by storm and are popping up all over the place. Well, who doesn’t want to camp out with fun people, participate in activities and drink booze?

An adult summer camp is exactly what it sounds like it is, a sleep over at camp with all of your adult friends. There is only one rule: do not talk about work! It is just like summer camp when you were a kid, but alcohol is a common factor.

The camps have tons of activities like tennis, canoeing, watermelon eating contests, group contests, making friendship bracelets, dancing, boating and campfires! You get to do the same things you did as a kid only without supervision or rules. Most of the camps do not allow digital devices, so leave that cell phone at home. It is sort of like a digital detox.

Camp No Counselors offer three-day escapes for adults to have fun and let loose. They started this trend back in 2013 and since then, it has been increasingly growing popularity. Other adult camps include Camp Grounded, Camp Throwback, Camp Bonfire and more. Since they are become more popular, there is a good chance you will be able to find one in your area. Most of them cost around $500 for an all-inclusive experience.

I have read some reviews online and a lot of people say it is like one big party. But if you like the outdoors and activities from summer camp, I bet this would be a great place to go and have some fun. Plus, after you return home from your epic camping trip, you will have made a bunch of new friends from around the country!
