Hello again! Wow, what a trip this has been so far, there really are a lot of cultural differences between the US and the UK. I definitely embarrassed myself a few times when I asked for things like the bathroom or the trash; they looked at me like I was crazy. Oh well, at least I know now!
Okay, so one of the best things about staying in London is the insane amount of knowledge which has infiltrated my skull. Almost all the museums here are free! Which is excellent news, because I’ve been spending my life savings on things like falafel and cupcakes, since it’s nearly double the USD. So far I’ve been to the Tate Modern and the Natural History Museum.
I hate taking pictures in art museums, so I took a bunch at the NHM. I didn’t really “get” a lot of the art at Tate Modern; maybe I’m too much of a mere plebian or something, so I don’t have any visual offerings of my attempts at understanding “art”. I DO however, have a few snippets of my two favorite London museums:
