Finally got home and spent the night in my old bedroom. Really great to be home, and I think I just hit the brink for my travels overall. There’s nothing quite like being home and with your own family. I realize now part of what made the trip so special for me was being around Rashel’s family – they reminded me so much of my own.
Concerning the budget I set, I was exactly par for the course. I finally got around to replacing that cell phone I lost earlier on in the trip with the money I saved. Now it’s time to collect myself (and my bank account) before I set out again. I want to constantly be on the move, but it’s good to be here and recoup for now.
Think I’ll have to bring along a travel buddy next time!
