Halloween Time at Disneyland is Back

It is that time of year again, when Disneyland transforms into a spooky fun time for Halloween. Every little thing at Disneyland changes to celebrate the arrival of fall. From characters to food to the decorations, it is the perfect place to get in that Halloween spirit.

The Halloween events run from September 11th to November 1st. A lot of the rides and attractions even jump on the Halloween bandwagon. The Haunted Mansion is recreated to look like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Space Mountain transforms into a ghostly roller coaster. Not to mention, Main Street, U.S.A, turns into a pumpkin patch like never before with hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins. Frontierland has traditional skeletons on display to observe and celebrate Dia de los Muertos.

Guests can even take part of Disney’s Happiest Haunts tour to be able to see the entire park’s Halloween décor. On select nights, Disneyland even hosts Mickey’s Halloween Party. Guests can enjoy spook-tacular entertainment and even have a chance to trick-or-treat. The only downfall is a separate ticket is required to take part in the party.

One of the greatest parts about celebrating Halloween at Disneyland is what happens at night. Nighttime is when all the villains come out to play. Guests get the chance to mingle with Cruella Deville, Ursula and all of the scary villains from your favorite Disney movies.

Of course Disnleyland is home to some of the best food around, but during Halloween, they offer even better treats. The Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue serves up the Sugar Cookie Bake, which is a thick sugar cookie, drizzled with powdered sugar, a cinnamon-orange milling spice, ice cream and caramel sauce. Café Orleans offers some of the tastiest Pumpkin Beignets that is served with vanilla crème Anglaise. The French Market Restaurant creates a killer Haunted Mansion Cake and Pumpkin cheesecake. Hungry Bear Restaurant has the best Apple Pie Funnel Cake and places all around the amusement park serve up Bat Mickey Cookie and pumpkin muffins.
