I am not a dessert man. My girlfriend loves baked goods. So this means that wherever we travel I am forced to visit the renowned bakery of the particular city we are in.
Usually I will indulge in a slice of cake or a simple loaf of a hard bread and make sandwiches with meat from a local deli. I am never too impressed with the selection from the different cupcake shops that I have visited.
I feel like every city claims that their particular cupcake bakery is the best in the world. So when we arrived at The Milwaukee Cupcake Company I was prepared to taste more of the same, boy was I wrong.
I can finally say, without hesitation that I have had the best cupcake in the United States.
I would describe in great detail but really you just have to try them. They are super moist and the frosting is absolutely incredible. I ate three of them and basically fell into a sugar coma. If you are ever in Milwaukee go to the Cupcake Company… they helped me believe in perfection.
