One of the greatest things about traveling is experiencing all of the different cultures around the world. A lot of travelers love to see animals that are native to the area they are visiting. So next time you are on vacation, make sure to look out for these adorable animals.
Red Panda
The Red Panda can be found across Asia and they actually look more like raccoons than a panda because of their markings and size. But they do eat bamboo just like giant pandas. If you are ever in Asia, make sure to keep your eye out for these charming animals because sadly, their population is declining.
Arctic Fox
Arctic Foxes are captivating creatures that can be found in Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Russia, Iceland and any play that gets really cold. They can actually survive in temperatures that dip down to -58 degrees. They have white, fluffy coats that help them camouflage in the snow.
Quokka
The Quokka might be the cutest animal of all time. They have a perma-grin and have no fear of people. They are found across Australia and are known to take photos with people. Take a selfie with them, just do not feed or touch them.
Black Footed Cat
The Black Footed Cat is found in Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. They look like a regular cat and are smaller than the average size of a house cat. They weigh less than 5.5 pounds and have large round ears, which help them hear their predators better. Their dark feet prevent them from hurting themselves on the hot sand.
Amazon River Dolphin
The Amazon River Dolphin looks like an ordinary dolphin except the fact that they are pink. Yes, pink. They can be found in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Columbia, Venezuela and Ecuador.
