Everyone loves ice cream and it is a delicious way to cool off in the summer. Of course you can always choose the originals like chocolate or vanilla. Or you can try one of these bizarre ice cream flavors.

Garlic

Did you know that Gilroy, California is the self-proclaimed garlic capital of the world? They even host an annual garlic festival where you can get a free minicone of garlic ice cream. The ice cream contains real bits of dices garlic in every bite.

Lobster

Maine is famous for their lobster so it makes sense that one of the most popular ice cream flavors in the area is lobster. Ben & Bill’s in Ben Harbor, Maine takes handfuls of buttered and fresh lobster meat and mix it into a butter-flavored ice cream. It has been around since 1988 and continues to become a local favorite.

Frozen greens

Los Angeles’ Pressed Juicery makes an ice cream juice cleanse that is one of the healthiest ice creams out there. It is basically green juice that is in the form of ice cream. It contains kale, spinach, parsley, romaine lettuce, cucumber, celery and dates.

Chocolate smoked sea salt

Humphry Slocombe in San Francisco is famous for their rotating selection of ice cream flavors. Flavors include mushroom, cucumber ice milk and their ever so popular chocolate smoked sea salt, which is loaded with salt.

Habañero bacon avocado

It gets hot in Scottsdale, Arizona and so does their ice cream. The ice cream shop serves up some of the most unique ice cream flavors like the habanero bacon avocado, coconut cashew curry and honey blue cheese ice cream.
