After visiting the aquarium and museums of Baltimore I decided that today I would stay in the same area but just relax on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and catch some sun!
After sleeping in to about 11 a.m. I caught up on Hell’s Kitchen on my computer in the hotel and I am so excited for the season finale next week! Who do you think is going to win?
I know it’s goofy getting excited over reality television but dramas like Breaking Bad are just too scary for me! Anyway after vegging out for a while I went back to the inner harbor for a light lunch at this awesome Mexican food place called Taco Fiesta.
Who would have thought that some of the best Americanized Mexican food I would ever find would be Baltimore?
Next it was time to get some well needed shopping done! I visited the Harborplace and treated myself to some new duds!
First, I visited H & M because I rarely get the opportunity to shop there. If you aren’t familiar, H & M specializes in trendy clothes at a really low price.
The clothes aren’t that great and you can honestly only wear them a couple time before they fall apart. But I don’t mind paying $20 for a pair of awesome looking shorts that I’m only going to wear for a couple months anyway!
Next, I went to Urban Outfitters and got this adorable new one-piece swimsuit. People say that the one-piece is coming back into fashion and I want to ride that wave. No pun intended!
Next, I dropped off my new clothes at the hotel and was famished from a day of burning up my credit card!
The closest place to my hotel was this awesome seafood called the Rusty Scupper. I didn’t know how expensive it was until I had been seated but there was beautiful view of the harbor and I have been craving a crab cake.
So that’s exactly what I got! The crab cakes were wonderfully delicate and filled me up!
It was an expensive day but at least it was fun!
