Game night or a romantic dinner for two, veal is the perfect option to prepare a homemade, specialty cuisine. The soft, tender burst of meaty merriment in your mouth might fill up your belly but it definitely leaves your taste buds craving for more.

  • Veal Shanks Paprika

 

Simply sauté onions, tomatoes and frying pepper in a pan until golden and then toss in the veal shanks. Once the meat starts browning, pour in the dry white wine, or stock along with generous amounts of paprika. Season with your favourite spices and stir well. Then transfer in a baking dish and place in the oven for 40 minutes until the gravy dries out slightly. Pull out and serve.

 

  • Veal Cutlets Gravy

 

The steps to preparing this winning meal are quite simple. You need to season the veal with salt and pepper and cover in flour. Then fry it in a deep skillet in oil and butter for a creamy taste. Once the cutlets are ready, pull them out and pour in wine and stock in the skillet with leftover oil. Squeeze in a lemon and add your seasonings along with parsley. Place the cutlets back in when the sauce thickens and serve.

Slice the veal in long, equal strips and marinate it in a mixture of different seasonings such as garlic powder, red chilli powder, a tinge of cumin, Italian seasonings, onion powder and, salt and pepper.
